School ERP System

There was a time when schools used to be entities where multiple processes were taken care of by a handful of people and various departments functioned through physical labour. I remember standing in long queues to pay the fee, teachers marking attendance on their registers, and report cards getting filled and made manually. Back then, it didn’t seem like a task and no one complained. But today schools are large institutions where taking care of functions across departments is not as easy.

To add to the agony, managing operations got more harrowing with school closures. These circumstances made it impossible for the management to function flawlessly across departments.

School ERP, a ray of hope.

As schools struggle to make their way through this crisis, School ERP solutions made the ordeal less distressing.

Referred to as School Enterprise Resource Planning System, School ERP has been a gamechanger for the education sector especially in India. According to a report by Research and Markets, the education sector around the globe is developing and expanding quite rapidly because of which deploying a platform that oversees multiple functions with zero error became a necessity.

Technology, today, is no more is a luxury. Close to 4.57 billion people were active internet users as of July 2020, encompassing 59 percent of the global population. Technology with its rampant speed is determined to change the functioning of businesses across sectors.

School ERP System

The education sector unlike many other sectors demands precision. Achieving this with only a few hands and brains get obscure. In addition, the operations got tougher with school closures globally. To facilitate schools’ smooth functioning, School ERP systems aided school operations in totality. Acting as a central dashboard, the school ERP system lets every stakeholder access information anytime. The management can operate the school in various modes such as online, offline, or hybrid.  It automates the school functioning and allows management to achieve end-to-end workflow with flexibility.  Right from the pre-admission process to navigating through various operations such as handling a large number of students, easy management of exams and assessments, and managing fee payment, everything became a click away.

Some of the prime tasks that a School ERP helps in are:
  • Admission process: It is considered to be one of the most error-prone tasks and often consumes a lot of time. Complicated procedures related to school administration get seamlessly solved with the School ERP.
  • Tracking fee payment: With ERP solutions, schools can simplify their fee payment process. They can easily keep a track of students who have paid their fees, those who haven’t, and those who need reminders. All of this is now possible with a simple click.
  • Exam management: ERP solutions also help to sort assessments and exams for students. Amid given circumstances when conducting exams is a hassle, school ERP helps generate automated report cards, question papers, mark sheets, etc.

Besides easing school operations for the management, School ERP systems also deliver high-quality hassle-free education to students.

How LEAD School is transforming school administrative worries

With Nucleus- the LEAD School Academic System, it becomes easy to monitor student’s performance at the school level.  Also, since the post-pandemic world is not going to be the same, at least for school functioning, Nucleus, under its school configuration setting gives an option of switching between the various school modes, such as online/offline/both. School administration can also decide on what days they want to teach the students, add new subjects, and allocate teachers. The administration can also connect the school's YouTube channel to the nucleus to directly upload the learning material.

Besides making the lives of school owners easy, LEAD School’s ERP solutions ease the journey of each stakeholder uniquely.

Every teacher is equipped with a teacher tablet, that is loaded with lesson plans, audio-visual resources, and training resources. In addition to the teacher’s app, a teacher also gets a school excellence kit, that has all the physical and digital teaching-learning material that is needed to teach as per the lesson plan in the app.

Every parent gets a Parent App that gives them information on homework, attendance, marks, class pictures, and unit progress. LEAD School is currently offering LEAD School at Home where every child can attend live classes daily, attempt quizzes, ask doubts to their school teachers.

Principals have access to a world-class curriculum; Monitor every child’s performance; Interact with parents & teachers regularly; Access daily attendance reports and much more.

Assessments at LEAD School help students cover their learning gaps before progressing to the next unit.

LEAD School has a unique assessment at each sub school:

  • Pre-primary:

There are a few assessments every week in each unit. These are called weekly assessments which are further divided into:

  • Worksheet based
  • Observation-based

  • Primary:

During a unit, there might be one or two assessments, depending on the logical completion of a group of concepts- these are the mid-unit assessments that exist for math's and EVS.

  • Middle school:

The students take the quiz at home. Based on this course they will be shown resources to understand the concepts for which they have got the answers incorrectly. At middle school, a quiz will be sent to the parents’ app at the end of every 7th and 14th-day plan. There is also a subject enrichment assessment available at the end of each unit. Conducting at least one assessment during each term is mandatory.

  • High school:

At high-school, the quiz will be sent to the parents' app at the end of every 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th-day plan. Towards the end of the school year, there is a mock exam which has the same paper pattern as the board exam. This is to help build students' stamina and ability to answer a board-structure paper. The purpose is to check for any learning gap, at various points in time during the year.

Right from taking care of school functioning to facilitating a world-class curriculum for children, the School ERP solution at LEAD School sure is aimed at making a child’s learning not just better but the best.
